COLE GROTTING
Land Lab Student Farmer and Advocate
(he/him/his)
Cole is a senior Environment and Sustainability major and a two season veteran of the Land Lab. During the school year he works as a student assistant at the UMD Office of Sustainability and is passionate about adapting human infrastructure to become sustainable (waste systems, energy, food, food waste, transportation, etc.) He believes local food systems, organic farming, and food education are critical facets of sustainability and that the Land Lab has and can continue to offer even more incredible opportunities for UMD to play a role in creating sustainable food systems and educated consumers of food.
